Integrio Uptime Scout now available at download.com

For over 7 years Integrio has been a software development company with 0 (zero, none, nada) sales people - we are technical people so we stuck to what we are doing the best – writing software. We didn’t do, and as of today are still not doing, almost any marketing – customers are coming to us because they heard we are good at it, not because of fancy ads.

But as we grow and time goes by we become more and more curios if we should make our name better known to the outside world. We gave it some thought and one of the ideas we messed with was developing freeware or shareware products so we could drive more people to our website. If this produces results - great, if not - this would be our contribution to the community :).

To test the waters we have packaged a simple utility we previously implemented for our internal use, named it Uptime Scout, and placed it at download.com for free download. It is a simple tray application that monitors the uptime status of your websites (web servers) and notifies of the problems detected.

Integrio launches new website

Today we launched the new version of our corporate website. Hope you will like it.

For those who are curious to see the history of changes we did to our webpage over the past 7 years, here we go. All thumbnails are clickable.


2000 - 2002 This is when it all started. Company was called Distributed Team. Website was optimized for 800 x 600 resolution.	2002 - 2005 Company changes it's name to Integrio Systems, so the new website is developed. Ideas implemented in this version affected Integrio's web presence for years to come.

2005 - 2006 Similar to the previous version but some more content on the homepage.	2006 - 2007 Website becomes cleaner: white background is used, site is optimized for 1024 x 768 screen resolution.

2007 Brand new design: bright colors, "liquid" layout (content occupies 100% of the browser window), fonts are relative to the fonts used by the operating system. Logo color is changed from orange to red.

The BC Ethics in Action Awards were created in 1994 as a result of the combined commitment and vision of Vancity and Workplace Centre for Spiritual and Ethical Development to celebrate BC based businesses and business leaders who are building new corporate models, organizations and individuals who exemplify good corporate citizenship by making corporate social responsibility a key aspect of their daily operations.

The awards ceremony is a significant gala event attracting national media coverage and hundreds of key executives from public and private sectors.

Introduced by Barbara Ashton who is actively involved with Ethics in Action, this year Integrio has been one of the Award's sponsors by assisting with Awards' website implementation and support.
